Annabelle Abraham joined Lawsmith Solicitors to lead the expansion of our Family Law department. With over 18 years of extensive experience, Annabelle is an accredited member of the Law Society Family Law Accreditation scheme, awarded by the Law Society of England and Wales to solicitors specialising in family law. 

Expertise in Divorce & Financial Remedies
Annabelle’s extensive expertise ranges from preparing divorce applications to handling complex financial remedies involving matrimonial and non-matrimonial assets, pension sharing, spousal maintenance, and capital lump sum settlements. She is adept at managing cases from the initial First Appointment (FDA) through to Final Hearings.

Children Law (Private & Public)

Annabelle provides sensitive yet robust advice on Section 8 applications to include child arrangement orders. She also has experience in dealing with child abduction matters and works with relevant authorities to secure the safe return of children where necessary. Annabelle also handles urgent applications, including prohibited steps orders and specific issue orders.

Safeguarding and Public Law
Annabelle is a dedicated Solicitor for clients in high-stakes environments. She represents parents in complex Public Law care proceedings concerning the Local Authorities removal of children in cases to include allegations of neglect and non-accidental injury. Annabelle also provides immediate protection for victims of domestic violence by obtaining emergency Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders.
